FACULTY:
Roger K. Khouri, M.D., FACS

  • Enrollment will be limited to a maximum of 8 plastic and reconstructive surgeons.

  • Attendees should have advanced experience in liposuction and fat grafting techniques.

Breast Reconstruction and Augmentation using Autologous fat has been advanced and refined by Roger K. Khouri, M.D., FACS.

Dr. Khouri has developed techniques and medical devices to extract large volumes of autologous fat for large volume augmentations to the breasts, buttock areas, and other anatomical areas that require augmentation.

Unique aspects of the Khouri approach include:

  • Very low vacuum aspiration of the autologous fat; thereby increasing tissue survival.

  • An anaerobic collection system that keeps the autologous fat in closed containers, minimizing air contract.

  • A unique method of harvesting large volumes of fat even in the thinner patient.

  • A unique surgical method of laying down the fat in recipient site.
